Feb. 4th 2023
Feeling: Excited
Today is February 4th, 2023 (Saturday), and I just got off work and am now on my way to Cincinnati to party my ass off. It’s my buddy’s 21st so you already know. I’m writing this in the car while we drive there because it’ll be the only time today to get it done.
I usually don’t party. I get anxious when I’m not sober because I’m so hyper-focused on being successful that I can’t stand the feeling of not being able to work at any given moment. Also drinking an excessive amount and hanging with friends, is against my dopamine detox so I rarely do it. Tomorrow I’ll pay for it though. I have 2 quizzes on Monday and an exam Tuesday and Thursday this next week. I’m a little stressed about getting everything done for my classes even though it’s my fault that I’ve been procrastinating studying. I’ve just put more importance on my brand and I get excited to work on my work before working on any of my classes. Sometimes I wonder how much more I’d be able to create if I didn’t go to school or had to work for someone else.
I’m excited about this party. I haven't seen the Cincinnati homies since Christmas when we had everyone come over for Secret Santa. In addition to the original homies, we’re also hanging out with some of their new Cincinnati friends which I haven’t met yet. As someone who is generally introverted and takes a while to warm up to others, get a few drinks in me and I’ll be hugging strangers (within reason of course). For tonight’s outfit, I’ve decided to go with typical college boy attire. I’m wearing my all-black apple watch, Phoebe’s Ohio State crewneck, my old navy jeans, white AF 1’s, and a Carhartt jacket. Can’t wait to match 5 others in any location I end up in. Who knows, maybe it’ll be a conversation starter for some.
I ended up recycling my youtube short content and uploaded it both to TikTok and Instagram Reels. For some reason, the Instagram reel has been up on my account for 12 + hours and has 0 views, while the TikTok has 714 views and 92 likes. Insta dropped the ball here but I’m not sure why. I originally uploaded the video I edited with TikTok and it has the TikTok watermark in it and I know Insta tried to lessen the views on recycled content but I re-uploaded it without the watermark and had no luck. I’ll have to investigate it further some other time. I’m not too concerned about it.
I’m starting to get motion sickness from writing this in a moving car so I’m going to wrap it up here. Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!
